Spicy Sweet Chickpeas and Cashews


1 can organic garbanzo beans, drained
1/4 cup salted cashews
1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili pepper
1/2 tsp onion or garlic powder
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
3 Tbsp agave syrup
2 Tbsp olive oil
optional: 1 tbsp lemon juice for moister chickpeas with a zesty flavor.
optional: 1/2 tsp liquid smoke for a smokier flavor.
*I basically did a mix-match of spices. I loved the flavor that came out, but if you want to modify it a bit I'm sure it will be just as tasty and healthy!
