Squash Casserole

Ingredients: 

4lbs yellow squash
1lg sweet onion
1c shredded cheddar cheese
1c mayo
2 tbsp basil
1tsp garlic salt
1tsp pepper
2lg eggs beaten
2c breadcrumbs divided
1 1/4 c parm cheese divided
2 tbsp butter melted
1/2 c french fried onions crushed


Preheat oven 350
Boil squash and onion until tender. Drain.
Combine veg w cheddar and next 5 ing plus 1 c breadcrumbs and 3/4 c parm cheese.
Spray 9 x 13 pan and spoon into pan.
Stir tog butter, ff onions, remaining breadcrumbs and 1/2 c parm cheese. Sprinkle over squash. Bake 35- 40 min or until set.
