Ingredients: 

Topping:

3 tbsp butter, each tbsp cut into fourths
12 tsp brown sugar
6 strawberries, cut into rounds and then cut into fourths

For the Cake:

1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
2/3 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
2/3 c sour cream
