2 large yellow squash, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds ( about 4 cups)
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
3 ounces soft fresh goat cheese ( chevre)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
