Super Easy Garlic Chicken

Recipe bystudioroom
Notes:

Just your typical white wine sauteed garlic chicken. The timing for this recipe really depends on how much caramelizing you want to do. Feel free to experiment.

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts
Salt and fresh ground black pepper
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves of chopped garlic
1 medium red onion chopped
1 sprig of thyme (or rosemary, or both)
1 cup white wine
3 tablespoons butter

  1. Season the chicken breasts.  Heat a saute pan and add the olive oil. Sear the chicken in the oil for about 4 minutes on each side.
  2. Toss in the garlic, thyme and onions and saute along with the checken. Turning and stirring as neccesary. Cook for another 5 minutes until the onions and garlic are soft and you see carmelization in the pan.
  3. Add the wine and stir it into the garlic onion mixture in the pan, deglazing if neccesary.
  4. On medium heat, let everything saute together with a lid on the pan for about 5 more minutes. Keep an eye on the chicken for your desired browness.
  5. When the ckicken is done, remove it from the pan and set it aside to rest.
  6. Cook the remaining sauce down further if it seems too liquid. If the pan sauce can coat a spoon, add the butter to the pan, and blend into the sauce.
  7. Serve chicken with buttery garlic sauce.
