ΒΌ cup (50 g) sugar

2 Tablespoons (30 ml) tamarind paste

2 Tablespoons (30 ml) tamari or soy sauce

2 Tablespoons (30 ml) water

1 Tablespoon (11 g) Chicken-style broth


1 pound (450 g) green beans, trimmed

3 carrots, peeled and sliced thin

2 Tablespoons (30 ml) oil

8 garlic cloves, sliced

1 bunch green onions, diced

1 red pepper, seeded and sliced into 2-inch (5 cm) pieces
