Sweet Cole Slaw Recipe

Notes: 

In my never ending quest for the perfect coleslaw dressing I've developed this vinegar based slaw and then add mayo and blitz to full emulsify it. Can be stored in the fridge long term for convenient use on demand.

Ingredients: 

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup mayo
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)


Toss all ingredients into a sauce pan. On medium heat cook until completely disolved and then a few minutes more. Cool completely and then add 1 cup of mayo. Finally put in a blender and mix until completely incorporated. It only takes a few tablespoons to a bowlfull of cabbage ingredients to complete.
