This recipe is for soft shaak. If you want it to be crunchy, fry the sweet potato pieces and place on the side. Prepare the vagar and add the masolo and then the sweet potatoes. Stir and shaak is done.
Sweet Potato (cut into medium size pieces, all should be about 1/4 inch thin): 4 heaping cups
Oil: 2/5 tbsp
Rye: 1 tsp
Hing: pinch
Arudh: 1 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Lal Murchu: full 1.5 tsp
Powdery Dhana: full 2 tsp
Sugar: 1/4 tsp
Cilantro to garnish
