Tuscan Garlic Chicken

Ingredients: 

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon oil
¾ cup flour
½ tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon onion powder

for the sauce

1 red pepper, diced
1 tablespoon minced garlic
½ cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon flour
½ cup heavy cream + 2 teaspoons corn starch
1 cup milk
2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves, roughly chopped
½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
¼ teaspoon white pepper
1 pound fettuccine noodles, cooked al dente
