I had to try this recipe after finding that Elmotoo had put this together after getting a little surprise. It really does go well together and I love the warmth of the tomatoes, which will add a mood of grilled kebabs to any middle eastern or mediterranean meal. I served this with another middle eastern side, Jan's (Aubergine or Eggplant Salad). All these two need is any favorite entree to wrap this up as a good meal with a bottle of wine.

4 large ripe beefsteak tomatoes
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons za'atar spice mix
