DISASTER!!!!!!

Oh this did not work AT ALL, the peanuts burnt on the bottom of the slow cooker, perhaps my "low" was too high. The texture was NOTHING like the photos - even if they peanuts had not burnt.

WILL NOT MAKE AGAIN!!!!!

Very loose texture, like a shortbread. VERY fussy to finish with the dipping of caramel and nuts.

I portioned the dough out to the recommended proportion, but they would have been HUGE. I ended up splitting each portion in two and they made perfect size.

Oh how wonderful.

Would recommend making the dollops of caramel a bit smaller than expected - only because it's kind of hard to roll into the dough.

When making, be sure the caramel is in the MIDDLE otherwise you'll have an off-center cookie (but who care's it's still a cookie)

Fussy - just like the other version. Easy to put together but the dough was very sticky after the 10 minute rest at room temperature. I used a smaller scoop than recommended, that may have something to do with it. Taste wise - these are delightful. Light, airy and a wonderful chocolate flavor that isn't overwhelming.

This time, they were not soupy, they turned out just right. Perhaps it's a measuring/weight issue with the flour, not sure?

Very simple to pull together, doesn't take a lot of effort. Trick I found is after it is done, turn off the oven and leave it in to cool. That will help get the final bit of moisture out of it. Friends at work loved it.

Recipe easily doubles.

First time making this kind of cookie, you're thinking it's not gonna pull together and suddenly it does.

I dunked mine in powdered sugar at least 3 times and actually stored it with them and gave a final coat before serving.

Very crumbly and quite a delicious mouthful

SNAPPY!!!!!

Quite crispy and very flavorful. The ginger is not overpowering but has a delicious lingering flavor.

These continue to be crowd pleasers and will always be on my Christmas Cookie list from this point forward.
