Ingredients: 

Basmati rice 1 cup
Water 2 cups plus 1 cup
Oil 1 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Bay leaf 1
Cloves 2
Cinnamon stick ½" piece
Cardamom 2
Carrot 1 medium peeled and chopped finely.
Beans 10 stalks removed and sliced diagonally.
Freshly cracked black pepper 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tsp
