Ingredients: 

a pat of butter, for greasing pan
1/2 cup
flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon fresh black pepper, optional
1 egg
1 cup sour cream
1 and 1/2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 + 1/2 cups corn kernels, fresh or frozen (thawed)
