Brown Rice w/ Sweet and Sour Tofu and Vegetables

Ingredients: 

Main Ingredients

250 grams extra firm tofu, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 carrots, julienned
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 or 2 red chilli, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce

3 to 4 spring onion stalks, finely chopped with leaves
2 inch piece of ginger, thinly sliced
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons soya sauce
1/4 cup thick tamarind paste
1 teaspoon paprica
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
4 to 5 fresh basil leaves
salt to taste
