Plain Baked Brie

Brie cheese has a long and regal history. A French creation, it was a favorite of the country's royals as far back as the 8th century. Brie is a soft cheese made from cow's milk, although some goat-milk brie is also produced, and is similar in taste and texture to Camembert cheese. Baked brie is suitable for serving as an appetizer, winter snack or after-dinner cheese course with an aperitif.
