Chicken Thighs with Olives and Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients: 

6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, divided
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 small can tomato paste
1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1/4 cup sliced pitted kalamata olives (Kroger sells jars of slice pitted Kalamata olives!)
