Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
4 cups oatmeal, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/3 cup honey, 1/3 cup pure maple syrup, 4 tablespoons butter
Melt butter,peanut butter, honey and syrup in microwave 30 seconds at a time until smooth. Stir
In a seperate bowl mix dried oatmeal, craisins and chocolate chips.
Pour wet ingredients over dry mix together.
In a greased baking dish spread mixture out and bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes 5 minutes at a time. Every 5 minutes pull out granola to toss so granola becomes evenly toasted.
Granola will crisp as it cools.
For other granola variations try out different proteins such as seeds or nuts and different dried fruits but stick with honey and maple syrup to ensure granola becomes sweet enough.
