It just isn’t Sunday dinner without a basket filled with tender biscuits baked from my grandmother’s recipe! We’ve always called them biscuits, but they are really more like a yeast roll.
5 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 T. baking powder
2 t. baking soda
2 t. salt
1/2 c. corn oil
2-1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
2 envs. active dry yeast
