Filling:
8 Granny smith apples, cored and sliced thinly
8 whole cloves (can be found at the supermarket)
2-3 tablespoons of orange juice (juice of one juicy orange)
1 cup organic blueberries (I used frozen organic)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup of organic maple syrup (or 5 teaspoons Natvia or 1/2 cup of sugar or sweetener of your choice)
Top:
2 cups Traditional or rolled oats (if you’re doing it by hand and not using a food processor rolled oats would be best)
1 cup organic desiccated coconut
1/2 cup walnuts (chopped roughly if doing it by hand)
3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
To Serve – Coconut cream, coconut ice-cream or side of your choice.
