Apple Cobbler

Serves 6 to 8

What You Need:

For the filling:
5 cups tart apples, such as Granny Smith, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
For the Cobbler Biscuit Dough:
1-1/3 cups unbleached, all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons non-hydrogenated margarine, melted
1/2 cup soymilk
1 to 2 tablespoons soymilk or non-hydrogenated margarine, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
