Ashley's Turkey Chili

Notes: 

Serve with cornbread. Yum!

Ingredients: 

• 1 1/2 lb ground turkey
• 1 1/2 small onion, chopped
• 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans, undrained
• 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, with juice
• 1 1/2 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
• 1 can corn, drained
• 2 Fresh tomatoes
• 1 red bell pepper, diced
• 5 cloves garlic
• 2 handfuls basil
• Sprinkle of hotshot
• Sprinkle of adobe seasoning
• ½ tsp ground pepper
• 2 tablespoon chili powder


  1. Cook turkey and onion in a medium fry pan over medium heat, scramble fry until no longer pink.
  2. Drain off fat and transfer to crock pot.
  3. Chop all remaining ingredients in food processor; add to crock pot and mix well.
  4. Cook on high 6-8 hours.
