Banana Split Cupcake Recipe:
White cake mix plus ingredients
Strawberry cake mix plus ingredients
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
Strawberry Syrup Recipe:

I made both of the syrups the same way I make my Blueberry Sauce.

2 cups fresh strawberries, finely chopped
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Pineapple Syrup Recipe:
1 can crushed pineapple, drained {just use the rest of the can after adding some to the cupcakes}
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
