Ingredients: 

For the cake:

1 cup semolina flour [also called sooji]
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup dry milk powder
1 cup dessicated coconut, unsweetened
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch ground cardamom
1/2 cup canola oil
1 egg, lightly beaten

For the sugar syrup:

2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1 drop rose water
