Ingredients:

ROAST:
1/2 cup Butt Rub (see our recipe)
4-6 pound Pork Butt
1 qt Apple Juice (you can also sub with Dr. Pepper for a nice twist)
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons liquid smoke
2 cloves of garlic pressed

BUTT RUB:
3 tbs paprika
3 tbs chili powder
2 tbs cumin
3 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs salt
2 tbs black pepper
1 tbs celery salt
1 tbs onion powder
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs oregano

Thorougly coat pork butt with the dry rub and let marinade from 2-24 hours in the regrigerator.

Place pork butt in a dutch oven and add remaining ingredients cover with foil and lid (for a tight seal) and cook at 350 for 6 hours.

You can also do this in a crock pot for 6-8 hours

Meat shoudl fall apart when done. remove meat from the pot and skim off the fat. You can then add 1 cup of brown sugar and one cup of ketchup and boil until thicked into a great bbq sauce.
