Beer Bread

Notes: 

* Serve warm or cold

* Makes delicious grilled cheese

* If desired, you can substitute a 12-ounce can of soda for the beer in this recipe.

* Can add cheese and/or herbs to the batter

* Add garlic powder to the butter before pouring on top

* Good to dip into cheese fondue

3 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) bottle beer
3 tablespoons butter, melted
