Brown Butter Sweet Potato Alfredo

Notes: 

I made this with spaghetti squash, and it was amazing!

Ingredients: 

2 tbsp. unsalted butter, browned
1 medium sweet potato, cubed into 2-inch cubes
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
1¾ cup water, divided
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 pound dried spaghetti pasta, cooked according to the directions on the box
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper (more or less depending on heat preference)
Salt and pepper, to taste
