4 large eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 to 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more if needed
Maple syrup, for topping
