2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp corn starch
.5 tsp salt (unless using salted butter then omit salt)
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup butter (room temp or softened)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup regular sugar
2 eggs (room temp)
1.5 cups choc chips (Hersheys if possible)
Mix butter & both sugars in mixer
Add in the vanilla and eggs (one at a time)
Add the flour mixture (salt, baking soda, cornstarch, flour) a little at a time on low speed
Add choc chips
Scoop out 1/4 cup dough for each cookie onto cookie sheets
Bake for 12 minutes
Let cool on sheet for 5 minutes before moving to rack to cool completely
