1 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
4 Tbs cocoa
1/2 tsp each baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ground cloves
1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk
2 cups grated zucchini
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1. Grease 2 8x4 pans - not larger
2. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla - beat well
4. Mix dry ingredients - add to creamed mixture alternately with the
buttermilk.
5. Stir in zucchini and nuts by hand
6. Pour evenly into pans and smooth tops.
Cooking time 50 min.@ 350 degrees
7. Cool in pans 15 minutes, then loosen.
8. Cool 30 minutes more, then remove to wire racks.
