2/3 cup chocolate chips

3 large eggs, at room temperature

1/2 cup (105 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

2/3 cup corn syrup

1/4 cup cream

4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled

1 tablespoon rum (or 1 tsp vanilla)

1/4 teaspoon salt

12 whole pecan halves (deco for top)
