4 cups sliced apples
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/3 cup melted coconut oil or butter
1/3 cup maple syrup, honey or agave
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup apple juice
preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spread the apples over the bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish. Put the rolled oats, flaxseeds, oil, maple syrup, cinnamon and salt in a medium - sized bowl and stir thoroughly combined. Crumble the mixture over the apples, then pour the juice over the top.
Bake for about 30 min., until the toppig is crisp and the apples are tender. Serve warm.
