1 tbs oil or butter
1 cup ice
Salt to taste
1. Place the grated potatoes, covered with ice and water, for 15-20 min. Stir in salt.
2. Drain the potatoes on a tissue paper.
3. Heat a griddle, spread oil to form a thin layer over it.
4. Spread the drained potatoes on the griddle and fry them in the oil, till the edges are brown.
5. Turn over without stirring and cook the other side.
Note: Usually works best if the potatoes are partially cooked first, in the microwave.
