Ingredients: 

3-4 Tbsp coconut oil
1 onion, diced
8 garlic cloves, minced
28 oz (3 1/2 cups) chicken/vegetable broth
28 oz can diced tomatoes
2 1/2 cups red or brown lentils, rinsed
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil/2-3 Tbsp dried
Salt to taste
