Everyone else calls it jello salad. We have always called it June's salad after June Hokrain who created it back in 1936. Very old family recipe! "It's not summertime until you make June's salad."
#1 can crushed pineapple
1/3 cup white sugar
6 oz jello (cherry is our favorite but have also made orange)
1 can cool Milnot (evaporated milk, NOT condensed)
1 package Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
Sliced maraschino cherries to taste
