This slow-cooker recipe is great when made on a rainy day. The house smells wonderful and it’s the perfect afternoon snack.
5-1/2 lbs. cooking apples, cored, peeled and finely chopped
4 c. sugar
2 to 3 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. ground cloves
1/4 t. salt
4 1-pint freezer containers and lids, sterilized
