Lindy's Pascha Quiche

Notes:

We made this for Pascha 2012, using leftover ham and Goat gouda from Trader Joe's. We served this for Pascha brunch with Albero (Spanish sparkling wine), hash browns, strawberries, orange juice, and coffee.

Ingredients:

1 pre-baked, homemade pie crust
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 tbsp of nayonaise (kind of like a hollandaise; could replace with mustard)
1/2 cup goat gouda cheese
1 1/2 broccoli, lightly steamed
3/4 cup of ham, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Place eggs and half and half in a bowl and whisk until mixed.
  2. Place onion, ham, broccoli, and cheese in the pie shell. Pour egg mixture over ingredients.
  3. Bake 40-45 minutes in 350 degree oven or until the center is set.
  4. A little waterness is normal. Slice and serve.
