Ingredients
2 lbs lean ground beef (can substitute 1 lb with Italian sausage)
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 - 28 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 - 16 oz can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 - 16 oz can white kidney beans, drained and rinsed
3 - 10 oz cans beef stock (or one 28 oz box)
1 Tbsp oregano
2 tsp black pepper
5 tsp parsley
1 tsp Tabasco sauce (optional)
1 - 20z jar spaghetti sauce
8 oz. pasta, cooked as directed and drained
1. Brown beef in skillet, drain grease. Put in crock pot with everything else, except pasta
2. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 4-5 hours.
3. During last 30 minutes on high, or 1 hour on low, add cooked and drained pasta.
