Spicy Mayo:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 tablespoon hot chili sauce (such as sriracha)*

Meatballs:
1/2 pound ground pork
1/8 cup finely chopped fresh basil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 tablespoon fish sauce (such as nam pla or nuoc nam)*
1/2 tablespoon hot chili sauce (such as sriracha)
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt

Sandwhiches:
1 cups coarsely grated carrots
1 cups coarsely grated peeled daikon (Japanese white radish)**
1/8 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
1/8 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
1/2 tablespoon Asian sesame oil
2 10-inch-long individual baguettes or 2 10-inch-long pieces French-bread baguette
Thinly sliced jalapeƱo chiles
8 large fresh cilantro sprigs
