Ingredients:

Basic Protein Pancake Mixture

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup egg whites
1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese (optional, but great if you eat dairy)
1/2 scoop protein powder (optional)
1/2 tsp baking powder
Stevia or splenda to taste

  1. Blend together and cook in a pan like a pancake.  For best results, mix ingredients in a blender or magic bullet, or simply stir them together by hand.
  2. This is the base of a protein pancake.  Get creative with flavors!  The pancakes are great with fruit, pumpkin, cinnamon, peanut butter, bananas, or just about anything you can imagine!
  3. The pancakes are awesome topped with things such as sugar free syrup, nut butters, sugar free jelly, fruit and "frosting".
  4. For the frosting, simply take a 1/4 scoop of protein, and mix it with a little water to make a thick but spread-able consistency.  Add a little sweetener to it, and you have a great tasting frosting!
