Scottish Shortbread


1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 lb butter - room temperature


6. Bake 1 hour @ 325 deg.

1. Heat oven to 325

2. Mix all ingredients together

3. Knead thoroughly until the consistency becomes doughy

4. Press very firmly into mold making sure that doughfits into every part of


5. Place filled mold into oven and bake. Shortbread should be pale - NOT
