1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 tablespoon liquid smoke
Place all ingredients, except butter, liquid smoke and hot sauce. in a sauce pan. Whisk together and slowly bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes. Add butter liquid smoke and hot sauce. Whisk until butter melts and then cool. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate.
