Steel Cut Oats with Matcha

Directions:

In a medium pot, combine water, milk and salt. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, add oats, agave syrup and matcha powder, and whisk together until matcha is fully dissolved.

Watching closely, bring the oats back to boil and cook for 2 minutes. Turn the heat off, cover the pot tightly with lid and let sit overnight.

In the morning, stir the oats and put the pot over medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes.

Ingredients: 

2 cups water
2 cups whole milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup steel cut oats
2 tablespoons light agave syrup
2 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
Toppings of your choice (fruits, berries, nuts, granola)
