Stuffed Apples
4 large, peeled apples
Bourbon
caramel sauce
3 slices of bacon, cooked
Vanilla spiced sour cream dough:
1/4 cups unsalted butter (cold)
3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups sour cream
5 tbsps ice water
1 vanilla pod or vanilla extract to taste.
Caramel Sauce:
1c granulated sugar
1/8-1/4 cup water
1-3 ts light corn syrup
1c heavy cream
2 ts unsalted butter
