6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1-2 jalapeno chiles or 1-2 serrano chilies, seeded and minced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 lbs skinless chicken legs or 3 lbs skinless chicken thighs
