Teriyaki Suace Multi Purpose


This is a basic Teriyaki Sauce that we use for a marinade as well as fried rice. I have added corn syatch to add viscosity. Thicken even more with corn starch to create a dipping sauce or to toss with chicken wings.


3/4 cup water
1 cup soy sauce (we use a strong dark sauce from the local Chinese grocery)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup oil (sunflower, veg or canola)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried ginger
2 teaspoons cornstatch
