Vegan Belgian Waffles


4 cups whole wheat flour
1 cups all-purpose wheat flour
4 1/2 cups soy milk (or any non-dairy milk)
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp egg replacer
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp salt

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, egg replacer, and salt in a large mixing bowl
  2. Add milk substitute and olive oil and mix well
  3. Use a measuring cup to add 1/4 a cup of batter to each compartment of your waffle iron
  4. Follow your waffle iron's instructions for cook time

    *Whole wheat cream of wheat can be used for a moist texture

    Serving Size: makes about 20 4 inch square waffles
