Ingredients: 

Cake:

1 teaspoon bourbon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup plus 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 3/4 sticks), room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
1/2 cup buttermilk
Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons (or more) whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
