1 loaf french or italian bread
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla
2 c granulated sugar
1 stk butter, melted
4 c half and half, or heavy whipping cream
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 - 1 c chopped pecans (optional)
WHITE CHOCOLATE SAUCE:
1 bx white chocolate baking chocolate, broken into pieces
1 stk butter, sliced into pieces
1 c confectioners' sugar
4-6 tsp water
