Janine's Fudgey Frosting

Notes: 

This recipe is great as chocolate frosting or as fudge!

For an allergy-friendly version: 1. Use Enjoy Life brand chocolate chips 2. Use Earth Balance Soy Free butter spread for margarine 3. Use coconut milk instead of dairy. These will then be dairy, gluten, soy and nut free.

Ingredients: 

1 Cup sugar

1/3 Cups milk

5 Tablespoons margarine
1 Cup Chocolate Chips (milk chocolate or semi-sweet)


  1. Bring first 3 ingredients (sugar, milk and margarine) to a boil and boil for one minute only!
  2. Take off heat and add one cup of chocolate chips and stir till frosting is smooth.
  3. Use as frosting or for fudge pour evenly into a small 8x8 pan lined with wax paper and cool. Slice when cooled and serve.
