2 oz of Tequila
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 limes ( juiced)
2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
In a medium size bowl combine tequila, lime juice, pepper, salt, and cilantro.
Add chicken – mix it around so the chicken is well saturated with the marinade
Cover and refrigerate from at least 1 hour or overnight
My favorite way to cook the chicken is on the grill – but you can pan fry or bake it as well
The heat should burn off the alcohol of the tequila – my mom use to make this when I was a child and there was never a issue
Gluten – free as well !
